New Body/Paint Scheme for Fall 08 season!

Special thanks to Brian Dutterer of B&N Machine for helping our with our machining needs, and to be the first to step up to the plate this season! Of course, due to the huge discount that Ryan Young of IndocilArt gave me on my helmet and the airbrush work on it, his name will also appear on the car for this 2008 Winter Heat Season...

This past weekend, a body that has had much history in the Phipps race shop was removed and set aside in storage. This was almost a new awakening with a donated body (thanks Evan Swilling) that had only been run once at Bristol. The purpose of this was to get some more weight out of the car, and this body seemed to weigh much less than the older body. The proposed paint scheme is going to be an all black car with Translucent gold/red metal flake in the paint. I've never sprayed metal flake like this before, so it should be fun.
